Accomplishments

John helped develop 5-year plans for both the Equipment & Apparatus and Building & Grounds budgets in partnership with the Chief, Firefighters, and Commission.  This establishes a solid plan for the responsible purchase of district equipment needs and property.

John played an active role in collaborating with the commission to reduce resident's  2022 FFD taxes by -20% ($2.75 per $1,000 assessed rate).   This could only be done by bringing people together and reaching compromises.     

Working Better Together

Station Upkeep - John assisted with the B&G committee to improve the existing fire stations and living conditions for the firefighters, rather than build new.   Taking care of the district assets is a big responsibility that John does not take lightly in managing the districts tax dollars.
